Which value range is used to describe moderate AR PHT?

200-350 m/s

Pressure half-time (PHT) reflects how quickly the regurgitant jet pressure drops in diastole. In aortic regurgitation, shorter PHT means more severe regurgitation, while longer PHT means milder disease. Moderate AR sits in between, so its PHT is intermediate. The commonly cited range for moderate AR is around a few hundred milliseconds, roughly 200–350 ms, which corresponds to an intermediate rate of pressure decay. If you see numbers expressed as time, that interval fits moderate severity; values much shorter point toward severe AR, while values much longer point toward mild AR. Remember that PHT is a time measurement, not a velocity, so interpret the range as milliseconds even if a source shows a similar-looking numeric span in velocity units.
